Cubed3 is reporting a Wii rumor that the Nintendo Wii will be released in October of this year. Although qualifying the accusation with ‘the source perhaps isn’t the most reliable’.

In a story by GameIndustry.biz, they report that the Nintendo Wii will feature an online marketplace. This marketplace will be very similar to the already online Xbox Live Marketplace for the 360.
