Buy Wii Online, Buy Wii Talk

Wii Preorder CanadaA few short days ago we reported that a Toys R Us in Australia was allowing for Wii preorders. The ability to preorder this sytem was nothing more than a place holder and provided no specific pricing info, nor specific launch date.

Apparently the Canadians are jumping on board and allowing Wii preorders now as well. Hell, if your in Canada start getting in line. You might just save yourself some time and not have to camp out the night before when the system does launch.

A deposit of $50 Canadian dollars will put you at the front of the line when the Nintendo Wii finally launches. Find out more at the Toys R Us Canada site, R Zone.

    Silviu, the Nintendo Press released announced that the launch would be on Nov. 19th, for the Americas. It did not specifically say the US, rather for the Americas as a whole.

    As for pricing, that has not been anounced for Canada yet. However, if you order through our LikSang link, they provide shipping world wide. Therefore you could definately preorder and get your Wii as soon as possible.

    PGC has the Canadian press release, but in any case;

    $279.95 for the system, $59.99 for games. No word on other accessories, or controllers yet to my knowledge.

    Just an FYI for Canada customers, the TRU R’Zone website seems to have some errors. The bundle is phrased exactly the same as the PS3 bundle they are offering, not to mention they list the Wii release as the PS3’s “11/17/2006″.

    I doubt they’ll be giving out a Wii for 279.99$ W/ 2 controllers and 2 games.

    Plus, they’ve been accepting preorders since before e3 (read: before May), at least my closest location has, so there’s no way to be sure they’ll have yours on launch.

    Either way, good luck.
