McGee, a US Games designer has praised Nintendo on it’s upcoming console the Wii. Noting their unique approach to the industry by revolutionizing the game industry and not just “upgrading”. During an interview with ComputerandVideogames.com, Mcgee labeled the PS3 and Xbox 360 as “ust a video card and processor update.”
The US Games Designer feels that Nintendo will have similar success with the Wii as they did with the Nintendo DS. The handheld dual screen system has had huge success in the market. Going up against big players like Sony, Nintendo has choosen the innovative approach as opposed to the “graphics only” approach. It doesn’t take huge processing power and the latest graphics to create a fun, enjoyable system.
“The only true next-gen console out there is the Wii. Everything else is just a video card and processor upgrade,” McGee concluded.

I agree though, it’s completely unfair to compare the PS3/360 to the Wii…not even close.
