Those following the Nintendo Wii online debates over the wii.com domain may remember that Nintendo was not going to persue ownership. However, it appears that Nintendo now owns all the rights to the domain.

Currently it redirects to the official Nintendo homepage, perhaps we will see some change after the Wii launches. Maybe, just maybe this is a move to help solidify online content or marketplace.
