Nintendo has officially announced the release of the Wii and it’s US price, however that does not stop the rumors from flying. Joystiq reported today that Wal-mart will not feature any demonstration units in it’s electronics department. Contrary to rumors it appears that the Nintendo Wii will have Dolby Digital decoding capabilities. Dolby Digital announced yesterday that the Wii will use Dolby Pro Logic II technology.
