Contrary to rumors it appears that the Nintendo Wii will have Dolby Digital decoding capabilities. Dolby Digital announced yesterday that the Wii will use Dolby Pro Logic II technology. The technology thought to be left out of Wii development will enable emersive audible amotspheres and a more complete gaming experience.
