Most of you may have heard by now that Wii Sports will be bundled with the Wii console package. This means that for $250 you can immediatley begin enjoying what the Wii has to offer, without having to plunk down another $50-$60 for a game. But that doesn’t mean you won’t have a plethora of Wii games to choose from at launch.
Wii Sports is specifically designed to take advantage of the Nintendo Wii’s unique controller and hardware cofigurations. Wii Sports will include several different genres of sports titles, bundled into one family fun pack. The different Wii sports games include Tennis, Golf, Baseball, Bowling, and Wii Boxing.
According to the Wii game specifications available now, it looks like all the sports titles are going to be multiplayer, except for Wii Golf. Keep in mind the final versions of the games have not been made available at any of the press events, so anythings possible come launch time. Since you get Wii Sports for free with the purchase of your Wii console, why not splurge and get the fun adapters? These are definitely a little quirky looking, but could offer up some more convincing game play.
