Enterbrain, a popular Japanese gaming magazine, claims that the PS3 will reign supreme amongst the next-gen 3-way. President Hiraku had this to say about the Wii’s eventual demise in the world market.
“The PS3 will have a tough time globally at the initial stage. Its launch titles in Japan and exclusive software titles overseas are quite limited,” “But its overwhelmingly realistic graphics will give it a long life span. It will stay competitive even when a game console battle breaks out among a newer generation of machines in 2010. Sales should grow every time Sony cuts prices,”
It’s funny, even corporate fanboys are still clinging to the idea that gamers will flip over the PS3 graphics and forget about the enormous price tag. What makes things even more amusing is that the magazine failes to mention the enormous shortage of PS3’s available at launch time.
Meanwhile at Nintendo HQ, things are moving along just fine and production numbers are above what they had anticipated.
