We reported a few weeks back about the possible issues associated with Wii demo units in stores. For example, demo users have the potential of hurting unsuspectin patrons as they pass through the area and vice/versa. However, the latest issue facing Nintendo is the ability to keep people from walking off with the Wiimotes.
Kotaku reports that there is a simple fix, that’s already been developed and that’s use wired controllers for the Wii kiosks. However, to complicate things and to create a phenomenal first impression amongst users, the wiimote will remain wireless. To deter would-be thiefs Nintendo hopes that the kiosks will continuously be supervised by attendees.
I wonder how much they will pay that 15 yr old punk at Wal-Mart to do that?
