As we near closer to the Wii launch date, more specifics about Wii bundle are becoming known. For example, we now know that Wii Sports will come bundled with the Wii console, for $250 USD. And now, we have learned that component cables will be available for purchase to use with the Wii for hi-def tv’s.

Although the system will not launch with component cables, they will be available at popular online retailers and offline like Best Buy, Circuit City etc… This is extremely good news considering that most of the games at launch will be developed for 480p and take advantage of 16:9 display modes.
