It appears that Nintendo didn’t ramp production up enough to cover my small city. All the usual suspects are out and have been since the wii hours of the morning. lol freakin punny. So what can you do to increase your chances of finding one somewhere in town today?
1.) Forget Best Buy, unless you’ve been camping for the past 48 hours your chances of getting one are slim to none. Go to the last place you would think of, in my city it was Sears.
2.) If your reading this it’s probably already too late, my Sears only received 3 Wii consoles. How in the heck does this happen?
3.) Rob someone, but be smart about it, you know that snotty EB Games manager has one in the back he plans on taking home with him.
To pass the time until the next shipment arrives, try playing some more DS.
(appologize for the double post if it occured, damn Firefox is acting up) Any idea on when this next shipment will occur? Think this week? December? 07?? And hopefully when this one comes out not every single person is doing freaking bundles.. and if they are there not bundling it with lame games.
I just happened to be at Wal-Mart at 10 till midnight. They were supposed to get 18 and already had a line of 19 people. I figured I have 15 mins to waste and scored the 20th and last Wii shipped to my locale.
Sweet Deal
Cool, glad to hear it Soloman. I just talked with my buddy in NY that said that Toys R Us at Times Square has plenty of left overs. Wow!

There was an advertisement by Best Buy yesterday that said they would have at least 12 per store (when they did not get shipments the day before). I went in the morning and there was a huge line. Once inside, they told us that they were only giving them to the people that have tickets handed out earlier. It sound bogus as I did not see anyone with tickets!! I will not buy from Best Buy ever again!!
joe, where do you live. My Best Buy did the same damn thing.
Anyone know if there is a site you can go to, to find out if/when places like Wal*Mart, Best Buy, Sears, Meijers, EB Games, etc. will have anymore Wii systems for sale before Christmas? Do you think calling the local stores would work or do you think they’d just lie and wait for people to come to the store? Well if someone has anything to help me email me. Andrew_Wolfrum@msn.com thank you all. If it helps I live by Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Hey Andrew, I know there were some sites that tracked how many Wii’s stores were getting at launch day, but not afterward. If I run across anything I’ll post it here.
