Nintendo in an attempt to curb piracy has released a Wii V2, which contains updated guts. Although Nintendo is aware that they will not be able to completely do away with illegal modding of their console, the update is hopes to slow the development of mod chips. It is believed that users attempting to install the current mod-chips with the new circuitry will likely damage their Wii’s.
