I saw a few Wiis on the shelves a month ago, but it seems like they are becoming almost impossible to find again.

Thanks for the comment GamerGirl, sounds like we are in a similar boat.

It should be noted that I saw my very first Wii (only 1) setting in a Wal-Mart last night. This was the first I had seen ever freely available to the next person who showed up.

Wii's are hard to come by here where I live. PS3's are the ones sitting here collecting dust. It took a months from its release date for me to see a PS3 in display that actually....works? Unless of course they kept that machine off while the other systems where playable. I own both 360 and Wii simply cuz it had games I wanted to play and I could afford them. Plus I'm 24 and still not tired of either systems. Doubt I will anytime soon.

I'm not so sure Nintendo is holding onto them, it just happens to be where the market is. For example, I found Wii's in NY by the skid full at a Toys R Us, but in Southern Indiana they are still no where to be found.

I think it's a luck of the draw and them still struggling to keep stock full.

The biggest complaint I have about the Wii is the fact of Nintendo holding on to them and controlling the disbursment like some type of crack dealer.I hope Nintendo chokes on this method of controlling the desire for it. Trying to keep the rush for the WII up. Hopefully everyone gets tired of looking for it and Nintendo losses their *&# over it.
