According to the popular Nintendo News site Nintendic, a new RPG will be coming via the way of the Wii. Rune Factory will be coming to the Nintendo Wii.

Harvest Moon has been a successful RPG franchise for the past 10 years, but now the tag has been lost and Rune Factory will be the new time eater.
