Unfortunately I’m talking about yesterday’s virtual console update and not the much anticipated Mario Galaxy. Super Mario Bros. 2 was released on the virtual console yesterday to the tune of 500 Wii Points. This title should satisfy your craving for side scroller action, because now your playing with power.
The other downloads available via the Wii Shop Channel are Ecco: The Tides of Time and Dragon Spirit. Which rounds out the systems the retro treat comes from, Sega Genesis and TurboGrafx16 respectfully. Be warned, Dragon Spirit does hold a rated E rating it does contain Mild Fantasy Violence. bwaaahahhaaaa
