Fils-Aimee spoke with CNET at E3 in regards to the recent price cut of the PS3 and how he feels the Wii will soon be the number 1 console worldwide. Just a few highlights from the CNET article.

  • A New Wii package will be released in 2008, which will be packaged with fitness software.
  • The Nintendo Wii has been sold out for all 33 weeks of it’s existence.
  • A Wii Zapper is in the works, which will be made available by itself for $20. It’s likely it will be sold bundled with a Wii game.
  • According to CNET the Nintendo Wii has sold nearly 2.8 million consoles.
  • Nintendo’s booth at E3 utilized “colored lights, smoke, and deafening sound effects to present their newest games to smaller audiences”, despite the conventions focal point of business to business information.

    Please tell me about the fitness program that is coming out this month. Plus will Wii be coming out with a dance program like the xbox 360? Love our Wii, and would enjoy the dance game/pad, just a Mom that wants to stay in shape!
