Fils-Aimee spoke with CNET at E3 in regards to the recent price cut of the PS3 and how he feels the Wii will soon be the number 1 console worldwide. Just a few highlights from the CNET article.
- A New Wii package will be released in 2008, which will be packaged with fitness software.
- The Nintendo Wii has been sold out for all 33 weeks of it’s existence.
- A Wii Zapper is in the works, which will be made available by itself for $20. It’s likely it will be sold bundled with a Wii game.
- According to CNET the Nintendo Wii has sold nearly 2.8 million consoles.
- Nintendo’s booth at E3 utilized “colored lights, smoke, and deafening sound effects to present their newest games to smaller audiences”, despite the conventions focal point of business to business information.
