There are constantly new titles being announced for the Nintendo Wii and even more rumored to be coming. Sublime said it best. In a recent article by DigitalSpy.Co.Uk, they discuss the Wii’s most likely short term appeal. With a headline like “Wii Success Will Not Last”, you’d expect there to be some substance behind it. Nope, just one stinking developer.

It’s been announced that there will be a new sheriff in town and he’s wielding a new gun. Alright, that was a bit melodramatic. At any rate, I’m looking forward to playing Wii Duck Hunt, Wii Clay Pigeons, and blasting zombies no doubt.
For those of you who cannot wait to get the official Nintendo Wii [...]

Rockstar revealed in a recent interview that fans of the game have been begging for a Wii version. It’s an obvious transition considering the addictive nature of the sport simulator and the possibilities of the motion-sensing Wiimote. It’s likely the title will be a direct port, with just the addition of motion sensing abilities.

Yesterday, N-Europe sparked the fires of the rumor mills with hopes that we will get a taste of Mario Kart for the Nintendo Wii at E3. I’m skeptical but excited since I fall over myself every time I hear good news surrounding first party titles. Let’s hope that the ‘trusted source’ isn’t a fooey.
