5 out of 5 stars well worth purchasing if you have a HD-TV   January 5, 2009

Had my doubt before, but once i had in hand to test the difference between the two even though you only get 480p , and for only a fraction of the cost from all the other stores. its well worth buying it on line. just beware of the one that charges $3 and shipping and handling is $12 - 20 .. the cable should only come to $6-8 combined w/ shipping and handling.. being a bargain hunter, just do some research on the cheapest cable cost combine with the cheapest shipping.. than you have your best bargain.. pretty much all cable is the same, and you wouldn't be able to see a difference between one from nintendo vs. one from a 3rd party.. except your wallet which probably cost an additional $30-50 depending on where your getting..

1 out of 5 stars adds dotted line noise on 480p   December 25, 2008

cable works fine with 480i setting, but when changed to 480p, it introduced lots of dotted line noise on 50" plasma TV.

4 out of 5 stars Wii Component Cable   December 17, 2008
I wasn't too thrilled about playing the wii on my lcd tv through the stock AV wires...after viewing HD for awhile now and getting use to the quality of HD, I knew right away that I needed to get component cables...i knew this was the one stop for me, Amazon. I love the cables and the price...you can't go wrong and you can't beat it. Don't spend much more for things that costs less and do the same exact thing. It's xmas, spend wisely...The cables are a much needed improvement. 480p but still much sharper than AV cable. I would recommend these!

5 out of 5 stars If you have a Wii connected to HDTV get this   December 12, 2008
Again a must have accessory for a Wii owner. This cable improves picture quality from Wii to your HDTV. This works better than the RCA cable that comes along with the Wii package.

5 out of 5 stars Good quality cables   November 10, 2008
"All you need is 480p vs 480i. These cables do just that, and you won't get High Def out of Wii no matter what cables you use."
