House of The Dead for Wii

Officially, the House of The Dead will be coming to the Wii. Sounds like another perfect match for the unique controls of the Wiimote control. This game will come as a package of House of the Dead 2 and House of the Dead 3. Geesh, how many zombies can one man kill?

The House of the Dead franchise has been revamped for today’s gamer looking for fast-paced shooting action on the Wii,” commented Gary Knight, Marketing Director of SEGA Europe. “Utilising the new Wii Zapper, the player can get the renowned light gun experience in their own home.

According to SEGA the game will feature 6 different modes of play and offer up plenty of options to make a lasting run in your console. If your not familiar with the game, expect an arcade shooter with plenty of ghouls and fast paced Wiimote shooting action. Although, this may not be a Wii title for everyone, because there will be blood…

Buy Super Mario Galaxy on Monday

Just a friendly reminder to my fellow Wii aficionado’s, Super Mario Galaxy will be available for purchase from the Wii Shop next Monday. Next to Zelda, it’s probably one of the most anticipated Wii games yet and isn’t it obvious why? Nintendo fans are in Mario withdraw.

5 out of 5 stars Hands on Demo at Gamestop   October 28, 2007
This is going to be the Wii game of the year hands down. I went to Gamestop to pick up Zack & Wiki and got diverted by the demo of Super Mario Galaxy sitting in the corner. I picked up the controls and five seconds later was jumping from star to star. It’s so easy to pick up and play it’s insane. It’s Super Mario 64 all over again but WAY more fun. Just a flick of the wrist and Mario did his spin attack. Point at the screen and the star gems gravitate to Mario, literally. I jumped into a warp pipe and ended upside down on the bottom of the planet (which correctes itself once I finished the warp). Once the camera rotated to show Mario from the top view again I was off down the path to a bunch of star gems clumped together. Another flick of the wrist and Mario smashed them apart and a point of the controller and the chaos of star gems flew back to Mario. I drew a bit of an audience and I’m not much for putting on free shows to I passed it to another person to try out. But this is all a moot point because if you’re reading this you’ve already bought the game and probably just waiting for it to show up all ready! Game on!
